Karen Gornall ACMA - Director
Chartered Management Accountant

Karen has over 35 years' experience in Accountancy and Business Planning, and as well as being a Chartered Management Accountant is also a Licensed Practice Certificate holder.

An Accountant in Practice for nearly 20 years, with extensive experience of both public and private sector accounting at Finance Director Level, Karen specialises in advising SME companies and sole traders on business planning, preparing accounts, budgets, cash flow, taxation, financial planning, including investments and money markets. Additional services offered are payroll and PAYE service, including end of year reports to HMRC, and experience in overseas sales and purchases, including EEC intrastat and VAT deferment procedures on the import/export of goods. 

Karens specialities are: Bookkeeping, Management Accounts, Final Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax, Self-Assessment, VAT, Payroll and PAYE, Management Reports, Business Plans, Cashflows and Forecasts, Preparation for External Audit, advice and guidance on Policy and Procedure development and implementation. Advice on Business Systems and Integrated Software, Financial Planning, Risk Management and Value For Money. Dealing with and submitting to HMRC and Companies House.

Dawn Morris MAAT MinstF - Director
Association of Accounting Technicians

Dawn has over 25 years' experience of working in Accountancy including Business Planning, Strategy and Development and specialises in grant fund sourcing, applications, project management and monitoring and evaluation.

With over 20 years working in the public sector for a large Social Housing and Enterprise Group as a Management Accountant, Dawn primarily focused on the Groups Social Enterprise subsidiary and Community Groups within the local neighbourhood. Working alongside Senior Management evaluating business opportunities and as the Grant Funding Expert providing project management to the group. Whilst working for an Internal Public Health Organisation as a Grant Officer, Dawn managed in excess of 40 projects with individual contracts of more than £30,000,000. Other experience includes working for a private company responsible for accelerating Liverpool City's growth and economic development.

Dawns specialities are: Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts, Business Plans, Forecast and Cashflows, Business Development and Evaluation, preparation for External and Grant Audit, advice and guidance on Policy and Procedure development and implementation, Grant Funding and Project Management, non-profit governance.
